COACH OFIR LEVI

The Beginning

I began my journey in the field as a young basketball player, with a passion and dedication to the process of mental and physical improvement.

As I progressed through youth leagues, I started to love the idea that I could gain knowledge and experiences that would give me a tactical advantage over others, beyond the obvious aspects within normal team training.

Soon enough, I found myself in a continuous and personal relationship with some of the best coaches in the world in the field of athletic development, including renowned Olympic coaches. Through trial and error, I achieved exceptional improvements in the field – with a 16-inch increase in my vertical leap (46″), and significant gains in straight-line speed. This led to six national championships and the privilege to play under the “AND1 Israel” brand as a professional dunker.

The Shift to Athletics and Football

With new abilities and a desire to explore further areas through them, I transitioned to track and field.

There, I competed for several years in races of 60, 100, and 200 meters, learning extensively about the world of athletics through daily observation and study under sprint and Olympic jump coaches from Belarus and Russia whom I greatly admired.

The athletics world also introduced me to Charlie Francis – Coach of the Canadian Olympic team, from whom I continue to draw much inspiration to this day.

After my track and field period, I joined the Israeli national American football team as a wide receiver and running back, achieving several performance awards and a personal best of 4.30 seconds in the 40-yard dash.

Athletic Training

With my retirement from competitive sports, I transitioned to coaching young athletes of all sports. Over the years, I developed an original and advanced training program that integrates secrets from the many coaches I encountered in my life, along with the changes I felt were necessary in the fields of psychophysiology and motor learning – towards achieving international-level performances.

The training style is highly intellectual yet accessible, demanding yet manageable and tolerable.

I believe that the goal of training is to create a mental fortress around learned physical capabilities, which will lead to a smooth transition of these components onto the field, where spontaneous athleticism meets coaching.

This method, in which we encourage the body’s systems to “love” the learned material, thereby extracting it from conscious thought to automatic response, is the emphasis of our training, where the uniqueness of the Red Fox is expressed.

My athletes and I believe and feel that any other form of training will be irrelevant, and will not pass in the end to the field or the day of the match.

For nearly 20 years, I’ve developed hundreds of young athletes all the way to full ride scholarships and professional status, through a training system that sharpens itself from week to week and continues to sharpen itself to this day.

So if you’re not afraid to dream of the best of yourself, and really want to achieve unique and valuable ability that will give you the best chance of success, join dozens of professionals who trust the Red Fox in their career, and take part in the amazing journey of professional sports.
